Loss Prevention Specialist - Retail

About the role

Retail G&A is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Loss Prevention Specialist to support its retail operations across the UAE and GCC. The role helps minimize shrinkage, protect company assets and drive a culture of compliance and accountability across stores. It suits someone who is hands-on, highly organized and able to work across several locations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular store audits, compliance reviews and self-assessments
• Investigate inventory losses, cash shortages, theft, fraud and policy violations
• Analyze CCTV footage to spot risks, suspicious activity and operational gaps
• Monitor shrinkage trends and recommend corrective actions
• Prepare reports and dashboards in Microsoft Excel
• Visit stores to check compliance with policies, security controls and procedures
• Support investigations from reporting through closure and corrective action
• Train store teams on loss prevention, stock control, cash handling and security awareness
• Work with Store Managers, Operations, Inventory Control, Finance and Security teams
• Ensure CCTV, EAS and alarm systems work effectively
• Liaise with security providers, mall management and authorities when needed

Required profile

• 2-3 years of experience in loss prevention, asset protection, retail security, store compliance or investigation roles
• Retail or hospitality experience with multi-site operations in the UAE or GCC
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Fluent English and a valid UAE driving license
• Ability to work independently and travel between stores

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis and reporting)
• Investigation and report-writing experience
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
