Machine Operator

About the role

The Machine Operator will operate, monitor and maintain packaging machinery in a pharmaceutical environment. The role ensures compliance with cGMP, SOPs and safety standards while supporting efficient, high‑quality production.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and organize packaging machines and lines in accordance with SOPs.
• Follow gowning procedures and maintain line cleanliness between batches.
• Check bulk and packaging materials against dispensing sheets before use.
• Perform machine operation, cleaning and weight verification using calibrated scales.
• Document batch packaging activities and report any technical faults immediately.
• Monitor line capacity each hour and drive maximum line efficiency.
• Execute daily operations complying with EMS and HSE standards, using appropriate PPE.
• Participate in EHS activities, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Basic computer knowledge and ability to read/write English.
• Disciplined, accountable and cost‑conscious.
• Strong time and task management skills.
