Maintenance Coordinator – Restaurants

About the role

Fundamental Hospitality is seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordinator to oversee day‑to‑day maintenance activities across one of its restaurant venues in Dubai. The role ensures that all facilities, equipment and technical systems are kept to a high standard, supporting smooth restaurant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily maintenance tasks, including preventative programmes and urgent repairs, while prioritising work to minimise service disruption.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest areas, kitchens, storage and back‑of‑house facilities to identify maintenance needs.
• Liaise with external contractors and service providers, arrange site visits, supervise work and ensure quality and timely completion.
• Manage servicing and repairs for kitchen equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, electrical, plumbing and other essential systems, maintaining accurate service records.
• Maintain documentation of work orders, service schedules, supplies and expenditures, ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Maintenance Coordinator, Facilities Coordinator or similar role, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities.
• Practical problem‑solving skills and the ability to respond quickly to urgent issues.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
