Maintenance Supervisor – Oil Terminal & Refinery

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the preventive and breakdown maintenance of all mechanical and electrical & instrumentation (E&I) equipment at the oil terminal and refinery. The role ensures equipment reliability, safety, and optimal performance while supporting project activities and technical inspections.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and execute preventive and predictive maintenance according to the approved annual PM plan.
• Supervise the maintenance team in installation, servicing, and repair of mechanical and E&I assets.
• Manage spare parts inventory, procurement, and stock updates for critical and non‑critical equipment.
• Coordinate with technical engineers for new equipment commissioning, project‑related works, and technical inspections.
• Oversee AMC contractor activities and certification/re‑certification of critical equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work instructions, and checklists in line with IMS requirements.
• Assist in preparing annual OPEX and CAPEX maintenance budgets.
• Ensure the maintenance team receives appropriate training, tools, and motivation to meet safety and cost‑effectiveness goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supervising mechanical and E&I maintenance in an oil terminal or refinery environment.
• Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance practices.
• Ability to manage spare parts inventory and coordinate with procurement functions.
• Experience working with contractors and handling equipment certification processes.
• Good understanding of IMS guidelines and safety standards.
