Major Account Manager - Public Sector

About the role

Fortinet, which delivers integrated high-performance security for IT infrastructure, is hiring a Major Account Manager for its public sector business in Dubai, UAE. The role takes part in new business pitches, owns the on-boarding of new clients and focuses on growing existing customers, using your network to run and grow opportunities, write business and account plans for tenders and act as the main link between the customer and the relevant divisions.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with executive-level customer contacts to understand business imperatives and IT drivers, and develop a strategy to sell Fortinet solutions.
• Sell products and services through a consultative approach while maintaining good relationships with key people in the accounts.
• Develop strategies and coordinate company resources to maximise sales volume within assigned accounts.
• Engage with sales resources such as System Engineers, the channel, specialist sales teams and executives as required.
• Drive quarterly business reviews with customers and keep them informed of product roadmaps so they can plan and mitigate risks.

Required profile

• Proven track record of enterprise sales experience in the hi-tech industry, preferably cyber security and networking, with strategic customer relationships.
• Highly motivated self-starter with a competitive personality, strong attention to detail and a hunger to win.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with excellent listening skills.
