Management Accountant

About the role

The Management Accountant will support the organisation by developing and implementing managerial and cost accounting practices. You will collect and analyse financial and operational data, produce analytical reports and models, and help drive strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to managerial and cost accounting projects following approved methodologies.
• Collect, analyse and report on operating and capital cost data.
• Develop cost accounting models, identify cost centres and cost drivers with stakeholders.
• Support the creation of policies, procedures and guidelines for managerial accounting.
• Analyse variances between planned and actual costs and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Prepare periodic reports for the direct manager, highlighting results, challenges and recommendations.
• Maintain and update financial databases used for analysis and reporting.
• Participate in workshops and meetings on financial systems and policy development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of practical experience in managerial accounting, cost accounting or financial analysis.
• Strong behavioural competencies such as effective communication, problem‑solving, adaptability and results orientation.
• Professional certifications in cost accounting or financial analysis are a plus.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Willingness to attend meetings and workshops within the Emirate.
