Manager – Business Development

About the role

EDGE Group is looking for a Manager – Business Development to drive growth and create strategic opportunities across its advanced technology and defence portfolio in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in priority markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, partners and industry stakeholders.
• Lead opportunity qualification, capture planning and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with technical and commercial teams to develop competitive solutions and proposals.
• Support negotiations, pipeline management and business development reporting.
• Identify strategic partnerships and market expansion opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, Defence or related field.
• 12+ years of Business Development, Sales or Commercial experience, preferably in defence, aerospace or advanced technology sectors.
• Strong commercial, communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Required skills

• Knowledge of integrated C5ISR systems and related products.
• Experience with multi‑intelligence fusion, sensing and intelligence technologies (EW, Radar, EO/IR, SAR, AIS, acoustics, GEOINT, OSINT).
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, autonomous platforms, missiles, weapons and multi‑domain tactical systems.
