Manager - Buying and Merchandising

About the role

The Manager – Buying and Merchandising will lead seasonal product range planning, vendor negotiations and in‑season execution for our retail portfolio in the UAE. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to align assortment, pricing and merchandising with brand strategy and sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and finalize seasonal assortments based on market trends, historical sales and brand strategy.
• Execute the buying calendar, including product selection, vendor negotiations and purchase order placement.
• Manage open‑to‑buy (OTB) in partnership with planning to optimise inventory investments.
• Coordinate product allocations, replenishment and markdown planning to maintain a balanced merchandise mix.
• Monitor weekly sales performance, drive sell‑through, and adjust stock through promotions and markdowns.
• Liaise with planning, operations, logistics and finance to ensure end‑to‑end merchandise flow.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of progressive retail buying and merchandising experience.
• Proven ability to collaborate across functions and achieve sales KPI targets.
• Strong analytical skills in forecasting, performance reporting and market trend analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field.
