Manager – Cash in Transit & Cash Solutions

About the role

The Manager, Cash in Transit (CIT) and Cash Solutions is responsible for leading secure, efficient and compliant delivery of cash‑in‑transit, armored transportation, cash processing, vault management and ATM replenishment across the national footprint. The role drives operational excellence, safety, regulatory compliance and cost efficiency in a high‑risk, high‑volume environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the national operations strategy for CIT, cash processing, ATM services and related cash solutions.
• Oversee regional branches, hubs and field teams to ensure standardized processes and effective resource allocation.
• Lead route optimisation, scheduling, fleet deployment and capacity planning to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Monitor KPIs such as on‑time delivery, cash accuracy, vehicle utilisation and service efficiency.
• Enforce security protocols, cash controls and safety procedures to maintain a zero‑incident culture.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, licensing requirements and internal operating procedures.
• Manage incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, corrective actions and security audits.
• Lead, coach and develop operations managers, supervisors, CIT crews, vault processors and armed drivers.
• Control operational costs, budgeting, forecasting, fleet maintenance and margin improvement initiatives.
• Build and maintain relationships with banks, retailers, government entities and key clients.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, HR, Compliance and Technology teams to deliver integrated cash solutions.
• Lead crisis response, business continuity planning and emergency response for major disruptions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field; MBA or master’s preferred.
• 8–9 years of experience in armored cash‑in‑transit, cash processing, vault services or high‑security logistics.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory or managerial experience leading operations managers and frontline security staff.
• Experience in multi‑country cash solutions operations is preferred.
• Proven exposure to digital transformation initiatives within CIT operations.
