Manager – Consolidation and Reporting

About the role

Velora Aviation is seeking a seasoned Manager to lead group financial close, consolidation and reporting activities across its multi‑entity operations in the UAE. The role ensures timely, accurate financial statements and compliance with IFRS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the group financial close and consolidation process, delivering accurate consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Prepare and review shareholder reporting packs and statutory reports.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, foreign‑currency translations and consolidation adjustments.
• Oversee compliance with IFRS requirements and maintain accounting policies.
• Coordinate external audit deliverables, providing schedules and supporting documentation.
• Operate consolidation and reporting tools, specifically Oracle FCCS and SAP S/4HANA.
• Analyze financial results, investigate variances and resolve data‑quality issues.
• Drive automation, standardisation and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; ACCA, ACA, CA, CPA or Master’s preferred.
• 6–8 years of finance experience in large multi‑entity organisations, preferably in the UAE/GCC.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, group consolidation and statutory reporting.
