Manager, Credit Control - Dubai & NE

About the role

The Manager, Credit Control is responsible for overseeing credit limits across credit facilities, guiding the team in daily limit encoding and control, and ensuring strict adherence to FAB head‑office policies, regulatory requirements and international branch standards.

Key responsibilities

• Authorize, process and encode credit limits in the bank’s systems, maintaining accuracy of interest rates, commissions, fees and write‑off entries.
• Prepare and process daily transactions such as loan memos, processing tickets, PPC discounting, settlements and service charges.
• Manage customer grade changes, limit suspensions, and issue liability certificates and letters.
• Upload bulk limit extensions for corporate, PCG, investment banking and FI clients and maintain system updates for downgrades/upgrades.
• Generate and review monthly reports, including CBRB mismatch and ORR discrepancy reports.
• Ensure 100% internal‑customer satisfaction by delivering timely service, handling queries and escalations efficiently.
• Support team leaders in workload distribution, monitor task completion, and provide on‑the‑job training.
• Prepare various regulatory and management reports and undertake special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive managerial experience in credit facility functions within the banking sector.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GLCMS banking system.
• Proficiency with T24 banking platform.
