Manager Facilities Management

About the role

Windmills Group, a UAE-based asset valuation, building consulting and management advisory firm founded in 2016, is looking for an experienced, results-driven Manager to set up and run a newly established facility management company. The role is responsible for building the business from the ground up, covering client relationships, financial performance, team leadership, service delivery, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and oversee day-to-day facility management operations, delivering efficient, reliable and cost-effective service.
• Develop and implement business strategies, operational policies and procedures.
• Lead business development, identify new opportunities and secure new contracts.
• Manage budgets, profitability, cost control and financial performance.
• Recruit, train, mentor and supervise operational and administrative teams.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers, contractors and key stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with UAE regulations, health and safety requirements, quality standards and company policies.
• Monitor performance, drive continuous improvement and report to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least 10 years of progressive facility management experience, including 5 years in a senior management or leadership position.
• Proven track record in business development, contract acquisition, client relationship management and team leadership.
• Valid UAE driving licence (mandatory).

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of UAE facility management regulations, statutory requirements, HSE standards and industry best practice.
• Leadership, communication, negotiation and decision-making skills.
• Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, profitability management and financial planning.
