Manager - Internal R&D

About the role

G42 Healthcare is seeking a Manager to lead internal R&D activities across its AI function. The role will support the tracking, coordination, and documentation of AI research initiatives across operating companies, ensuring alignment with the group’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Track AI research initiatives using defined processes, maintaining accurate records of scope, status, milestones, dependencies, and risks.
• Maintain the unified AI R&D pipeline and roadmap, updating progress, scope changes, and maturity levels.
• Prepare materials for AI R&D reviews and steering committees, coordinating inputs, agendas, and follow‑up actions.
• Ensure consistent documentation of research activities, supporting teams in preparing summaries, experiment records, and evaluations.
• Support adoption of agreed tools, models, and research methods, tracking usage of shared assets and feeding practical issues back into coordination processes.
• Identify cross‑team coordination opportunities and help resolve execution gaps.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing AI research projects and coordinating across multiple teams.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with the ability to maintain detailed project records.
• Ability to work with senior leadership and external partners to align R&D activities with strategic goals.
