Manager - Regulation & Compliance

About the role

The Manager – Regulation & Compliance will provide advisory support on regulatory issues for the Ports, Maritime or EC&FZ clusters, ensuring best practices and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on regulatory issues specific to the designated cluster and develop pragmatic solutions for emerging challenges.
• Implement and maintain robust policies, procedures and controls to manage regulatory risks and ensure continuous monitoring of their effectiveness.
• Lead internal and regulatory inspections, audits and drive innovation and automation within compliance teams.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in regulatory, compliance or maritime legal roles, preferably with an international shipping entity.
• Strong knowledge of local and international regulatory environments and established relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, with the ability to train staff on evolving regulatory requirements.

Required skills

• Compliance/AML and sanctions knowledge (certification beneficial).
• Ability to conduct regulatory risk assessments and manage investigations and case resolutions.
