Manager - Reporting (Group Finance)

About the role

Aldar Education is looking for a Manager - Reporting (Group Finance) to support its schools in the UAE from headquarters. The role covers management reporting, statutory reporting, compliance reporting and financial reporting, ensuring accurate, timely and IFRS-compliant reporting across the group. It leads the preparation of Group Reporting Packs, Investment Committee presentations, Executive Management Team reports and CFO MIS packs, and develops MIS dashboards for budget owners.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing, management reporting, statutory reporting, compliance reporting, internal controls and ICFR activities
• Prepare monthly management reporting packs, including Investment Committee Presentations, Department MIS reports, Executive Management Team reports, Group Reporting Packs and ad hoc reports
• Consolidate and review financial results across businesses and prepare consolidated statutory financial statements under IFRS
• Drive ICFR initiatives, support new IFRS standards, DoA frameworks, finance policies and SOPs, and coordinate internal and external audit requirements
• Develop and maintain live budget and reporting dashboards, and train end users
• Prepare the monthly CFO MIS Pack and country-by-country reporting
• Manage the establishment of new legal entities, the Chart of Accounts and GL accounts, and support ERP and process improvement projects

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in finance; professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or equivalent) preferred
• Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including 2-3 years in financial reporting, consolidation and technical accounting
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, consolidation, management reporting, internal controls and financial governance
• Experience in ICFR, statutory audits, regulatory compliance and finance transformation is highly desirable
• Education sector experience preferred
