Manager, SME Specialist Sales

About the role

The Manager – SME Specialist Sales is based in Dubai and reports to the SME Head of Commercialization for East Arabia. This senior position combines strategic advisory expertise with hands‑on sales execution to help small‑and‑medium‑enterprise (SME) clients grow revenue and profitability through Mastercard solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute SME growth strategies, acting as a trusted advisor to financial and non‑financial institution partners.
• Build and manage a robust pipeline, conducting on‑site client interactions, needs assessments, and solution positioning.
• Identify, originate, and convert new business opportunities, driving ecosystem plays and commercializing signed deals.
• Contribute to SME P&L targets across key UAE customers and support regional sales priorities.
• Spot product, proposition and innovation opportunities within SME payment segments.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise, shaping strategic recommendations and leading end‑to‑end execution with internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in consultative sales and business development, preferably within payments or financial services.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with disciplined execution capabilities.
• Ability to operate as a credible advisor to senior client stakeholders.
• Track record of delivering measurable revenue outcomes in a B2B environment.
