Managing Director – Sports Division

About the role

The Managing Director – Sports Division will lead the growth and development of a sports‑focused marketing agency based in Dubai. Reporting directly to the Board, you will own overall business performance, strategic direction and revenue generation across sports, entertainment and cultural ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Full ownership of agency performance, including revenue growth and P&L accountability.
• Develop and execute business strategy for sports, entertainment and cultural partnerships.
• Lead and expand key client relationships with sports properties, sponsors and rights holders.
• Build and scale commercial pipelines across clubs, leagues, federations and related ecosystems.
• Foster a high‑performance organisational culture focused on accountability and delivery excellence.
• Collaborate closely with the Board, providing structured reporting and performance visibility.
• Design talent development programmes and organisational structures to support scaling.

Required profile

• Proven track record delivering commercial growth in sports, entertainment or rights‑holder environments.
• Experience scaling an agency or commercial organisation with measurable revenue growth.
• Established network across sports properties, talent agencies and commercial rights ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of how sports IPs generate and monetise commercial value.
• Hands‑on operational leadership style while managing senior stakeholders.
• Full P&L responsibility and experience reporting at board level.
