Market Research & Competitive Intelligence Analyst (Remote)

About the role

Ethos is seeking experienced market research and competitive intelligence analysts to help train a cutting‑edge language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role is fully remote, flexible, and focuses on creating and refining AI‑generated deliverables for core business workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated competitive landscape and positioning decks.
• Build market sizing and TAM/SAM/SOM models, win/loss analyses, and competitor battlecards.
• Produce industry benchmarking and trend reports, as well as customer and stakeholder survey summaries.
• Create pricing and feature comparison matrices to support go‑to‑market decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or industry benchmarking within an agency, consulting, or in‑house strategy role.
• Proven track record building market sizing models, competitor battlecards, or pricing comparison matrices that inform product or market decisions.
• Expert‑level craftsmanship in documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks with strong written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
