Marketing Intern - Pet Vertical

About the role

This is an entry-level internship with MAPYR, a newly launched pet vertical, based in Dubai. You will work hands-on across social media content creation, retail brand activations and in-store staff engagement, learning the premium pet distribution landscape in the UAE from the ground up.

Key responsibilities

• Social media (70%): create and schedule content for Instagram, TikTok and UAE-based pet communities; help manage communities by responding to comments and DMs; research trending formats and compile weekly competitor and social listening reports; support influencer seeding by tracking gifts, follow-ups and repost opportunities
• Retail brand awareness (20%): assist with in-store branding, POSM placement and visual merchandising checks; capture content from retail activations and events; support brand awareness initiatives at premium lifestyle and pet retailers
• Retail staff training (10%): coordinate logistics for product knowledge sessions and help prepare brand storytelling one-pagers and training materials

Required profile

• Pursuing degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a similar field
• Strong communication skills
• Basic knowledge of digital and social media
