Marketing Manager Africa

About the role

Clarios is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead brand and product marketing initiatives across Africa. Based in Dubai with an expected transition to Riyadh, you will partner closely with the Africa sales team, central marketing functions, and customers to drive profitable growth and strengthen brand positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Identify target audiences in each African market and develop multi‑country marketing plans with clear objectives.
• Conceptualise and execute multi‑channel campaigns throughout the prospect and customer lifecycle.
• Collaborate with the Africa sales team and customers to design programs that promote sales of Clarios brands, products and services.
• Boost digital brand awareness, drive website traffic and generate leads through strong digital marketing tactics.
• Manage participation in trade fairs and customer events, ensuring effective on‑site execution.
• Work with agencies to deliver online and offline marketing activities.
• Build and maintain a market intelligence database covering trends, competitors, channels and consumer behaviour.
• Track, analyse and optimise the impact of marketing initiatives.
• Present plans and results to internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Marketing, Sales or a related discipline.
• Extensive marketing experience in the automotive or battery industry within Africa.
• Strong understanding of market trends across multiple African countries.
• Proven budget and project management capabilities.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Fluency in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
