Marketing Manager

About the role

PlaceUp is looking for an experienced, hands-on Marketing Manager to lead marketing strategies, campaigns and brand development across multiple brands. The role combines strategic thinking with strong execution, covering planning through delivery and supporting brand awareness, consumer engagement and sales growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute marketing strategies aligned with business objectives and brand priorities.
• Plan and manage integrated marketing campaigns, product launches and promotional activities.
• Oversee brand positioning, content development, social media, digital marketing and advertising.
• Coordinate trade marketing and support distributors, retailers and business partners.
• Manage marketing calendars, budgets, timelines and campaign deliverables.
• Lead events, exhibitions, influencer partnerships and PR activities.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Manage external agencies, suppliers and creative partners.
• Lead and develop the marketing team and ensure cross-departmental collaboration.
• Monitor campaign performance, marketing KPIs and ROI to improve results.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Marketing Manager role, with proven team leadership or resource coordination.
• Strong background in brand management, marketing campaigns and product launches.
• Experience managing marketing budgets, agencies and multiple projects at once.
• Proven ability to turn marketing strategies into actionable plans and measurable results.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English; experience with multiple brands, distributors or retail partners is an advantage.
