Marketplace Operations Specialist

About the role

A sportswear and lifestyle brand with an international customer base is expanding its digital commerce team in Dubai. AW Connect is recruiting on its behalf. You will manage the daily operations of the brand's marketplace channels, keeping them accurate and reliable, with a focus on product feeds, catalogue quality, stock and price synchronisation, orders, returns and seller performance. It is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys solving operational problems and working with large product catalogues.

Key responsibilities

• Manage product feeds in ShoppingFeed, including mapping, rules, categories and attributes.
• Resolve listing errors and rejected products, maintaining catalogue quality across platforms.
• Monitor stock and price synchronisation between Shopify and marketplace channels.
• Follow up on orders, cancellations, returns and customer claims with platforms and logistics teams.
• Monitor account health, late shipments, cancellation rates and seller ratings.
• Implement promotions and price changes in line with the commercial plan.
• Prepare weekly operational reports and escalate issues to the Marketplace Manager.
• Support onboarding onto additional European marketplaces.
• Use AI and automation to enrich product data, investigate feed errors and reduce repetitive work.

Required profile

• At least two years of hands-on experience operating European marketplaces such as Amazon, Zalando, Veepee, ASOS, Cdiscount, Galeries Lafayette or Otto.
• Fluent written and spoken English; French is strongly preferred.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Required skills

• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience working accurately with large product catalogues.
• Practical experience using AI tools or automation in operational workflows.
• Advantageous: ShoppingFeed or another feed-management platform (Lengow, ChannelEngine, Channable), Shopify, and fashion or sportswear catalogues with size and colour variants.
