Master – Offshore Support Vessel (OSV)

About the role

GPS Talent is seeking an experienced Master to command an Offshore Support Vessel operating out of Abu Dhabi. The role involves leading the vessel’s operations, ensuring safety, and coordinating with offshore installations and client representatives.

Key responsibilities

• Take command of the vessel and ensure the safety of crew, vessel and marine environment.
• Manage passage planning, navigation, manoeuvring and operations around offshore installations.
• Oversee offshore supply, cargo transfer, mooring and other assigned vessel operations.
• Lead the crew and maintain effective coordination between bridge, deck and engineering teams.
• Implement the vessel's Safety Management System, including risk assessments, toolbox talks and emergency drills.
• Maintain vessel documentation and ensure compliance with flag‑state, company and client requirements.
• Coordinate with shore management and client representatives to deliver safe and efficient operations.

Required profile

• Valid Master Unlimited Certificate of Competency – STCW II/2.
• Minimum 48 months of sea service as Master on AHTS, OSV and/or PSV vessels.
• Strong offshore vessel handling, navigation and crew leadership experience.
• Previous experience with ADNOC operations is highly desirable.
• Valid STCW certification, seafarer’s medical certificate, seaman’s book and passport.
