Material Controller

About the role

Material Controller responsible for overseeing material movements, ensuring accurate inventory records, and supporting EPC projects in the oil & gas sector.

Key responsibilities

• Control and monitor all material movements including receiving, storing, issuing, transferring, and returning materials.
• Verify incoming materials against purchase orders, delivery notes, packing lists, and technical specifications.
• Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system and conduct periodic inventory counts and audits.
• Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, construction, and maintenance teams to ensure timely material availability.
• Generate inventory, material status, and stock movement reports for management review.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5-8 years experience in material control, inventory management, or supply chain within Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, or EPC industry.
• Experience on construction, commissioning, maintenance, shutdown, or turnaround projects preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Maximo, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of material control and inventory management processes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
