Material Management Manager

About the role

The Manager, Material Management leads procurement and material management activities to ensure timely, cost‑effective acquisition of materials, supplies and services supporting business operations at EDGE in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies that optimise cost, quality and delivery performance.
• Oversee material planning, inventory control and demand forecasting to maintain optimal stock levels.
• Manage supplier selection, evaluation, contract negotiations and performance monitoring.
• Drive cost‑saving initiatives and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor procurement budgets, KPIs and prepare performance reports for senior management.
• Lead, coach and develop the procurement and material management team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics or related field.
• 5‑7 years of experience in procurement, material management or supply chain operations, with at least 3 years leading teams.
• Professional certification such as CPSM, CPP or CPIM is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of procurement systems, purchasing methodologies and cost optimisation practices.
