Materials and Procurement Manager

About the role

Nova International General Contracting is seeking a senior Materials and Procurement Manager to lead end‑to‑end procurement and materials management for its civil, infrastructure and luxury branded residential projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies and project‑specific plans aligned with schedules and corporate objectives.
• Identify high‑value and long‑lead items early, track them and protect project timelines.
• Prepare procurement packages, lead vendor selection, and conduct technical and commercial evaluations.
• Negotiate contracts, payment terms and long‑term agreements with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Oversee material submittals, resolve technical comments with design and engineering teams, and ensure compliance with specifications, drawings and authority requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels, material usage and waste across sites to control costs.
• Ensure all procurement activities comply with UAE regulations, company policies and ethical standards, and manage budgets with financial discipline.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of experience in senior procurement and materials management within the construction contracting sector.
• Proven ability to lead vendor development, supplier performance evaluation and contract negotiation.
• Strong commercial and contractual awareness across LOI, LOA, LPO and subcontract agreements.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coordination with design, engineering and site teams.
