About the role

We are looking for a passionate Mathematics Teacher to join GEMS Winchester School in Abu Dhabi starting August 2026. The successful candidate will deliver engaging British‑curriculum mathematics lessons and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver high‑quality mathematics lessons aligned with the British curriculum.
• Assess student progress, maintain accurate records and provide constructive feedback.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and a love of learning.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
• Participate in co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programmes and support whole‑school initiatives.
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues and external stakeholders regarding student development.
• Uphold GEMS policies, procedures and core values at all times.
• Engage in continuous professional development and performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
• Valid teaching qualification with equivalency completed.
• Proven classroom practice with the ability to inspire and motivate learners.
• Commitment to inclusive education and personalised learning.
• Willingness to contribute to wider school life and professional learning culture.
• Availability for immediate joining.
