Mathematics Teacher – Secondary (Grades 9‑12)

About the role

We are looking for an inspirational Mathematics Teacher to join our academic department in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will foster a deep understanding of mathematics, support academic excellence, and contribute to a vibrant international school community.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging mathematics lessons to secondary students (Grades 9‑12).
• Prepare students for external examinations such as IGCSE, A‑Levels, AP, and IB DP.
• Integrate educational technology, including graphing calculators, interactive whiteboards, and virtual learning environments.
• Manage classroom dynamics and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Assess student progress, track data, and implement differentiated instruction.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a related quantitative field.
• Post‑graduate teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
• 2‑3 years of full‑time secondary mathematics teaching experience.
• Experience with international curricula and diverse student populations.
• Strong communication, cultural sensitivity, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with graphing calculators.
• Use of interactive whiteboards.
• Experience with Canvas learning management system.
• Experience with Google Classroom.
