Mechanical Design Engineer - HVAC & Ventilation

About the role

Cvsaire, operating under Cvsair Ventilation Technics, is looking for a full-time, on-site Mechanical Design Engineer in Dubai. The engineer designs and develops HVAC and ventilation system components and assemblies so that they meet performance, safety and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update detailed 3D and 2D CAD models, drawings and specifications
• Perform engineering calculations and analyses of airflow, structural integrity and thermal performance
• Collaborate with project, production and quality teams to support manufacturing and installation
• Review client requirements, prepare technical documentation and contribute to product optimisation and cost-effective design
• Assist with technical support during project execution and take part in design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; advanced qualifications or professional certifications in HVAC or building services engineering are an advantage
• Experience in machine and product design, including component and assembly design for industrial and building services applications
• Experience in ventilation, HVAC products or related industrial equipment design; exposure to large-scale commercial or infrastructure projects is preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Required skills

• Proficiency in CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar for 3D modelling, drafting and technical documentation
• Ability to perform engineering calculations, read technical drawings and apply relevant standards and codes
• Solid understanding of HVAC and ventilation systems
