Mechanical Engineer – Infrastructure

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join our infrastructure project team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for reviewing mechanical designs, supervising construction activities and ensuring compliance with project specifications and UAE regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Review mechanical drawings, specifications, material submittals, method statements and shop drawings.
• Supervise and monitor mechanical works on infrastructure projects to ensure compliance with approved designs.
• Coordinate with civil, electrical, structural and other disciplines to resolve technical issues.
• Inspect installations, equipment and systems, and prepare site inspection reports.
• Review contractor submissions, RFIs and material approvals, and follow up on corrective actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in infrastructure projects in the UAE.
• Strong consultancy/supervision background and knowledge of UAE authority requirements.
• Excellent technical coordination, communication and reporting skills.
