Mechanical Engineer – MEP Coordination for High‑Rise Residential Projects

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer will support the design and execution of MEP works for a residential high‑rise building. The role focuses on improving design solutions, ensuring scope coverage, and delivering quality construction while maintaining safety standards on site.

Key responsibilities

• Study project designs and propose enhancements for MEP systems.
• Review Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and Work Orders to verify scope coverage and quantity adequacy.
• Execute and monitor MEP works with vendors according to construction schedules and GFC drawings.
• Maintain progress, quality, and safety standards throughout the site.
• Coordinate with civil & structural, finishes, and other vendors on‑site.
• Liaise with the central design team and project engineers.
• Assist in tender drawing preparation, BoQ development, vendor negotiations, invoice certification, and record keeping.

Required profile

• High level of integrity and strong negotiation abilities.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with vendor databases and SAP systems.
