Mechanical Supervisor

About the role

The Mechanical Supervisor will lead the installation, assembly, testing and maintenance of mechanical systems on luxury yachts. You will ensure all work follows technical drawings, project specifications and safety standards while coordinating with other trades.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and participate in the installation, alignment and commissioning of mechanical equipment, piping, pumps, valves and ventilation systems.
• Read and interpret mechanical, piping and general arrangement drawings.
• Conduct inspections and testing, diagnose faults and coordinate corrective actions.
• Verify measurements, clearances and tolerances during installation.
• Coordinate with electrical, plumbing, HVAC and carpentry teams for system integration.
• Allocate daily tasks to mechanics, pipefitters and installers, monitor productivity and quality.
• Provide technical guidance, hands‑on support and training to junior staff.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in marine mechanical installation and maintenance.
• Strong hands‑on mechanical knowledge and ability to read technical drawings.
• Leadership skills to manage a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to safety and quality standards.
