Mechanical Technician – Service Stations

About the role

The Mechanical Technician is responsible for preventive, breakdown and shutdown maintenance of mechanical equipment at service stations, ensuring safe and uninterrupted operations. The role involves travelling to multiple locations using a company‑provided vehicle.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective and shutdown maintenance on fuel dispensers, pipelines, valves, transfer pumps, lube equipment, measurement instruments, air compressors, generators and storage tanks.
• Conduct routine inspections, detect corrosion, and apply anti‑corrosive measures.
• Test rotating and static equipment after repairs to verify proper operation.
• Start and check all mobile equipment daily, record findings and report faults.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, execute repairs, and return equipment to service safely.
• Carry out major overhauls, equipment testing and calibration, including fuel dispenser meter and pressure gauge calibration.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a relevant vocational trade certificate.
• Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with international and UAE refinery standards and protocols.
• Strong organizational, management and planning abilities.
• Capability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
