Media & Communications Officer – Bilingual (English/Arabic)

About the role

New Country Healthcare is seeking a bilingual Media & Communications Officer to enhance its corporate reputation and stakeholder engagement across the UAE and the wider region. The role blends strategic planning with hands‑on execution, requiring fluency in English and Arabic.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement corporate communication and public‑relations plans that raise NCH’s visibility.
• Manage the corporate website, LinkedIn page, and other approved communication channels.
• Draft press releases, media statements, executive messages, articles, speeches, and digital content in both languages.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors, media outlets, and industry stakeholders.
• Coordinate media enquiries, interviews, press engagements, and corporate announcements.
• Design internal communication campaigns, newsletters, and leadership updates in partnership with HR.
• Support executive thought‑leadership through articles, interview briefings, presentations, and talking points.
• Plan and execute corporate events, CSR initiatives, public engagements, and community programmes.
• Manage influencer collaborations from identification to performance reporting.
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships with healthcare, educational, and professional organisations.
• Provide crisis and issue communication support with timely, approved messaging.
• Monitor and report on media coverage, digital engagement, partnership and influencer performance, recommending improvements.

Required profile

• Exceptional bilingual communicator with strong writing skills in English and Arabic.
• Ability to translate business objectives into clear communication plans.
• Established relationships with media representatives, agencies, influencers, or relevant external stakeholders.
• Proven experience managing communication activities from concept through execution and reporting.
