Media Studies Teacher (Start September)

About the role

GEMS FirstPoint School is looking for an enthusiastic Media Studies Teacher to join its team in September 2026. You will deliver high‑quality lessons that follow the British curriculum and inspire a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess engaging Media Studies lessons.
• Maintain accurate records of student progress and adapt teaching to meet varied learning needs.
• Create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters curiosity and innovation.
• Integrate technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Contribute to co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programmes.
• Uphold GEMS policies, procedures and core values.
• Communicate regularly with parents, colleagues and external stakeholders.
• Participate in continuous professional development and performance management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• Passion for teaching Media Studies and the British curriculum.
• Ability to work effectively with a multicultural student population.
