Medical Science Liaison (Kuwait)

About the role

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to serve as the primary scientific interface in Kuwait. The role will support the company’s cardiovascular‑metabolic portfolio by building relationships with healthcare decision makers, disseminating data, and supporting research initiatives across the Upper Gulf region.

Key responsibilities

• Engage healthcare decision makers to communicate Amgen’s scientific platform and advance brand objectives.
• Lead cardiovascular‑metabolic medical affairs activities in Kuwait in line with local brand strategies.
• Identify, train and manage members of Amgen’s speaker bureau, ensuring they are updated on new data.
• Provide clinical and economic value information to payers and formulary decision makers.
• Collect and relay market insights, trends and unmet needs to internal stakeholders.
• Support investigator‑sponsored trials, act as liaison for research sites, and coordinate with Clinical Development and Clinical Operations.
• Deliver training to HCPs and contracted speakers.
• Report scientific interactions using the ALIGN reporting system and maintain accurate coverage metrics.
• Represent Amgen at medical education events, congresses and meetings.

Required profile

• Strong scientific background in cardiovascular and metabolic therapeutic areas.
• Proven experience interacting with healthcare professionals, payers and key opinion leaders.
• Ability to communicate complex scientific data clearly and effectively.
• Experience supporting clinical research and investigator‑sponsored studies.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the ALIGN reporting system.
