Membership Director

About the role

RIKAS Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic Membership Director to shape the membership strategy for a brand‑new exclusive private members' club launching in DIFC. This senior role will define the club’s community, attract high‑net‑worth members, and deliver an unrivalled member experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a membership strategy that attracts and retains an exclusive member base.
• Oversee the full membership lifecycle—from prospecting and onboarding to engagement, renewals, and retention.
• Build and nurture relationships with members, VIP guests, corporate partners and prospective members.
• Collaborate with Events and Marketing teams to create and promote exclusive experiences.
• Monitor membership performance, revenue and retention, identifying growth opportunities.
• Recruit, lead and develop the Membership team, ensuring exceptional service standards.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for members, guaranteeing a personalised experience.
• Work closely with senior leadership to meet commercial and membership objectives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in membership sales, luxury hospitality, private clubs, lifestyle brands or premium customer relationship management.
• Proven track record managing high‑value client relationships.
• Strong commercial and negotiation abilities.
• Experience working with HNWIs and VIP clientele.
• Excellent networking, communication and presentation skills.
• Experience opening a luxury hospitality venue or private members' club is highly desirable.
