MENA Product Manager - Vice President

About the role

State Street's Product organization is recruiting a Product Manager to support its MENA Custody & Fund Administration business. The role covers product definition, client engagement, solutioning, product enhancement, strategic innovation and commercial growth. It sits within the Global Custody business, which is undergoing significant change and digital innovation, and reports to the head of MENA Product Management.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Middle East stakeholders to set the business strategy and required investment.
• Document the product definition and standards for Custody & Fund Administration products and work with Global Delivery teams to build a consistent operating model.
• Provide domain expertise in the day-to-day running of the business.
• Work with segment and coverage heads representing the business to Middle East and cross-border clients.
• Identify areas for improvement of the core product.
• Track record of engaging complex clients, solutioning operating models and turning requirements into platform capabilities.
• Own the product P&L to optimise product performance.

Required profile

• Seasoned VP/ED with 10+ years' experience in Securities Services.
• Prior experience in product organizations, and in operations and/or technology.
• Consultative experience with institutional investors.
• Experience leading complex change agendas.
• Strong team player able to collaborate across complex organizations.

Required skills

• Deep subject matter expertise in Custody & Fund Administration products, including Global Custody, Direct Custody, Fund Administration, Performance Management and related FX and cash products.
• Strong connections to market infrastructures.
• Familiarity with industry integration tools that shorten the chain of custody across the investment lifecycle.
• Working knowledge of data visualisation tools.
