MEP Design Manager

About the role

The MEP Design Manager will lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design and technical delivery across master development projects. This senior position provides technical leadership, governance, and multidisciplinary coordination to ensure integrated, compliant engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across all MEP design stages (concept, schematic, detailed design).
• Prepare and present technical reports, design review outcomes, and decision papers to senior management.
• Oversee multi‑disciplinary MEP projects, ensuring design specifications, construction quality, and system integration are maintained.
• Ensure seamless integration between all technical disciplines and specialist systems.
• Lead design reviews and approvals to support successful project delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (master’s preferred).
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred; LEED AP or CEM advantageous.
• 12–15 years of relevant MEP design experience, with a proven track record of delivering large‑scale projects.
• Experience working in the GCC or Middle East and familiarity with local construction and regulatory environments.
