MEP Engineer – Interior Fit‑Out Projects

About the role

Neospace Interiors is seeking a proactive MEP Engineer to lead the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design and execution for high‑end interior fit‑out projects across the UAE. You will ensure seamless integration of all MEP systems from concept through handover.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and implement MEP, fire‑fighting and ELV systems according to project requirements.
• Prepare electrical circuit drawings, load schedules, ducting layouts and heat‑load calculations.
• Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, interior teams and stakeholders to produce clash‑free designs.
• Review IFC, shop, BOQ and material submittal drawings, raise RFIs and ensure compliance with UAE codes.
• Supervise site installation, testing, commissioning and conduct regular inspections.
• Manage approvals and inspections with authorities such as DCD, DEWA, Dubai Municipality and Trakhees.
• Plan and control MEP schedules, manpower, materials and subcontractor activities.
• Enforce QA/QC and HSE standards, support snag closure and prepare as‑built documents and O&M manuals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• 4–6 years of MEP engineering experience on interior fit‑out projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE regulations (DEWA, DCD, Dubai Municipality, etc.).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and relevant MEP design/review software.
• Excellent communication, coordination and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple sites in a fast‑paced environment; UAE driving licence preferred.
