MEP Supervisor

About the role

The MEP Supervisor supervises the safe, timely and quality execution of MEP construction and installation works on project sites. The role coordinates subcontractors and site documentation, ensures compliance with approved project requirements and reports progress to the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise subcontractors and site teams on MEP installation works according to approved drawings, specifications and standards.
• Plan daily site activities, manpower, materials and work fronts with the Project Manager and subcontractors.
• Manage permit-to-work applications, method statements, risk assessments, inspection requests and daily work records.
• Monitor HVAC works (AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs, ventilation, ductwork, chilled-water piping) and control panel installation, supports, cable containment, termination and equipment positioning.
• Verify installation quality against shop drawings, specifications, manufacturer requirements and site standards.
• Coordinate subcontractor interfaces, resolve installation issues and monitor milestones against the project schedule, highlighting delays and corrective actions.
• Support site inspections, testing, commissioning readiness, snag closure and handover documentation.
• Prepare daily progress updates, material and manpower reports and site coordination records.
• Enforce HSE rules, toolbox talks, safe access, housekeeping and approved PTW conditions, and follow site HSE policies and information security rules.

Required profile

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Preferred: 4-7 years of relevant MEP project installation or site supervision experience.
• Preferred: experience with HVAC equipment, control panel installation and installation inspections, and coordinating subcontractors, permits and project schedules.

Required skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems (AHUs, FAHUs, FCUs), MEP/control panel installation and relevant standards.
• Knowledge of site HSE, PTW, risk assessments and method statements.
• Ability to read approved drawings and specifications.
• Site supervision, subcontractor coordination, planning, communication and problem solving.
• MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
