Merchant Relationship Manager – Executive Merchant Acquiring (UAE National)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and results‑driven Merchant Relationship Manager / Executive to join a leading financial services organisation in Dubai. This position is open exclusively to UAE nationals with a passion for sales, business development, merchant acquiring and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach and onboard new merchants across various industries, building a strong pipeline of strategic, retail, online and B2B accounts.
• Conduct sales presentations, negotiate commercial terms and close merchant agreements to increase card acceptance and transaction volume.
• Maintain and grow relationships with existing merchant partners, conducting regular visits and business reviews to improve satisfaction and profitability.
• Achieve assigned sales targets, reactivate inactive merchants and monitor performance to drive business growth.
• Support merchants with onboarding, payment‑related inquiries and compliance, coordinating with internal teams to resolve issues.

Required profile

• UAE national (Emiratization mandatory) with at least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, relationship management, merchant acquiring or related financial services.
• Proven track record in merchant acquisition, account management and achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills, with a good understanding of the local market.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related field is preferred.
• Self‑motivated, customer‑focused and comfortable working in a target‑driven environment.
