Mid Senior Backend Engineer – Java

About the role

Revolut is looking for a Mid/Senior Backend Engineer to join its Technology team in Dubai. You will help build and maintain the core services that power millions of customers worldwide, focusing on clean, maintainable code delivered with test‑driven development and continuous delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement mobile APIs and microservices using Java.
• Develop and evolve the architecture for risk management, fraud detection, and payment processing.
• Work on greenfield projects as well as improve existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure high performance and reliability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude, quick learning ability and results‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills, fluent in English.
