About the role
The Midwife will provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period at Phoenix Hospital in Abu Dhabi.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct antenatal assessments and monitor maternal and fetal well‑being.
- Support safe childbirth, administer medications and interventions within scope, and collaborate with obstetricians and healthcare teams.
- Educate patients and families on birth plans, newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Required profile
- Valid midwifery qualification and professional registration as required by UAE authorities.
- Previous hospital or clinical experience in obstetrics, women’s health, or neonatal care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to work in multidisciplinary teams.
- Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
