Mill Sales Manager

About the role

Valmet is seeking a Mill Sales Manager to drive growth and enhance customer experience for its Packaging and Paper Business Area in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on service sales, representing Valmet’s full offering as the single point of contact for the mill or assigned production lines, and requires frequent travel across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and book orders across the business area, ensuring compliance with established sales processes.
• Lead and support customer negotiations and promote Valmet’s lifecycle solutions.
• Build and maintain trusted‑advisor relationships with key stakeholders and collect customer feedback.
• Handle high‑priority requests or escalations and communicate claim progress.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of installed base data and market trends.
• Coordinate mill shutdown‑restart schedules and service clock planning.
• Lead mill teams or hubs to ensure efficient information exchange, such as quarterly meetings.
• Collaborate with product managers, field services, and spare‑parts teams to develop new business opportunities.

Required profile

• Degree in Paper Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within paper mills.
• Strong understanding of the pulp, paper and board industry.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel extensively across the region.
