Mortgages Team Lead

About the role

The Mortgages Team Lead is a full‑time, on‑site position in Abu Dhabi, responsible for leading a team of mortgage professionals and ensuring high‑quality service delivery across all mortgage activities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of mortgage specialists, overseeing daily operations and performance.
• Review mortgage applications, collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, and resolve complex customer issues.
• Monitor pipeline and conversion metrics to meet business targets and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Optimize processes, contribute to product and service improvements, and stay updated on local mortgage market trends.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
• Background in finance or financial services, with knowledge of mortgage products and lending practices.
• Experience in accounting principles relevant to mortgage and real‑estate transactions.
• Auditing or compliance experience, particularly in reviewing financial documentation.
• Proven experience leading teams in a financial or mortgage environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field; professional certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with mortgage processes in the UAE or broader Middle East region is preferred.
