About the role

Join Al Ain British Academy as a Music Teacher for the academic year 2026/27. This full‑time position starts immediately and involves delivering the English National Curriculum to a diverse student body.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess music lessons in line with the English National Curriculum and GCSE requirements.
• Adapt teaching methods for students whose first language is not English.
• Collaborate with colleagues to raise standards and close learning gaps.
• Contribute to the school’s extracurricular music programmes and events.

Required profile

• Proven experience teaching music within the English National Curriculum framework.
• Demonstrated ability to improve student progress and implement effective learning strategies.
• Leadership experience at any school level and strong teamwork skills.
• Understanding and appreciation of regional values and culture.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the English National Curriculum and GCSE music specifications.
• Experience teaching English‑as‑an‑Additional‑Language learners.
