National Service Manager - Automotive Multibrand

About the role

A confidential opportunity in Sharjah, UAE, seeks an experienced National Service Manager to lead service and workshop operations for an automotive multibrand business. The role drives operational performance, profitability and customer satisfaction while keeping service standards consistent across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead service operations, including mechanical, electrical, diagnostic and bodyshop activities.
• Develop and deliver service business plans, budgets and operational targets, and manage revenue, gross profit, operating costs and profitability.
• Improve technician productivity, workshop efficiency, bay utilization and turnaround times.
• Set up consistent processes for vehicle reception, diagnosis, estimation, repair, quality control and delivery.
• Strengthen first-time repair performance and reduce repeat repairs and complaints.
• Lead and develop Service Managers, Workshop Controllers, Service Advisors and technical teams.
• Coordinate with Parts and Procurement to improve parts availability and reduce repair delays.
• Build service solutions for retail, corporate and fleet customers.
• Oversee technical training, diagnostic capability and readiness to service hybrid and electric vehicles.
• Monitor performance through regular reporting, ensure compliance with policies, safety and quality standards, and implement corrective actions.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of automotive aftersales experience, including at least 5 years in a senior service management role.
• Proven experience managing a multibrand workshop or dealership; experience leading large technical teams and multiple service locations is preferred.
• Strong technical knowledge of European vehicle brands and premium service standards.
• Experience managing service profitability, budgets and operational improvements.
• UAE or GCC automotive market experience is highly desirable; a valid UAE driving licence is preferred.
