Network & Systems Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Network & Systems Administrator to manage the IT infrastructure of a contact centre with around 200 seats. The role ensures high availability, performance and security of network devices, Windows servers and connectivity services while working rotating shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Layer 2 access switches and Layer 3 core switches, configure VLANs, inter‑VLAN routing, DHCP relay, spanning‑tree and link aggregation.
• Administer FortiGate firewalls (NAT, security policies, SD‑WAN, DNS filtering) and maintain dual internet connections with fail‑over and MPLS WAN routing.
• Configure and monitor site‑to‑site VPNs and network monitoring tools (SNMP) for availability and performance.
• Administer Windows Server 2025, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP and DNS services, including high‑availability and patching.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support, incident investigation, root‑cause analysis and change‑management for network and server changes.
• Maintain disaster‑recovery arrangements, conduct recovery testing and keep documentation such as network diagrams and configuration records up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on network and systems administration experience.
• Valid CCNP (Enterprise or Security) and a current Microsoft certification (MCSE or equivalent) covering Windows Server administration.
• Proven experience with FortiGate firewalls and enterprise switches (Cisco, Huawei, Aruba) and strong knowledge of VLANs, spanning‑tree, OSPF, MPLS, SD‑WAN and VPN technologies.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and coordinate with vendors, ISPs and internal stakeholders.
