New Product Development & Purchase Manager

About the role

The New Product Development & Purchase Manager will lead the creation of innovative fragrance and cosmetic products while overseeing the sourcing of raw materials and finished goods. This role blends market insight, supplier negotiation and regulatory compliance to bring profitable product lines to market.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new product opportunities in niche fragrances, perfumes, cosmetics and personal care.
• Conduct market research on consumer trends, competitor offerings and pricing.
• Collaborate with fragrance houses, laboratories and manufacturers to develop formulations and packaging.
• Manage the product development lifecycle from concept through launch, ensuring compliance with UAE and international cosmetic regulations.
• Source raw materials, fragrance oils, packaging and finished products from local and international suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, MOQs and supply agreements to achieve cost efficiency.
• Monitor supplier performance, quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with logistics for import/export and shipment scheduling.
• Support marketing and retail teams with product positioning, pricing strategies and launch planning.
• Ensure products meet quality, safety and regulatory requirements through testing and certification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Cosmetic Science, Chemistry or Supply Chain Management.
• 5–8 years of experience in the fragrance, beauty or cosmetics industry.
• Proven experience working with fragrance houses, cosmetic manufacturers or private‑label suppliers.
